Our visit at the schools was nice, at first we went to a
High School and, as the students were on their break time, we went to have lunch,  then we were able to talk with some English teachers sharing some experiences and ideas related to the learning process. At the High School we didn't have much time to stay in classes, it was only ten minutes, but it worths.
Next, we went to the Elementary School where I was invited to stay in a kinder garden class that stands to Spanish students who are learning English as a second language. There I was able to observe how the teacher deal with the lesson and all the additional materials she is available to her. It was good, but I wish I could spend more time in the class with the teenagers students, because my pupils are at this age.
Well, my group met our mentor Michelle last week at Panera and were together with the other group. So, the mentor teachers shared with us a little about their experience in classes. They both gave us a demostration on how they work in classes with story books and some other additional materials. It was very nice, and today we are preparing for the second day meeting. I hope we enjoy it.

Preparing a pre-reading activity
After choosing the book ‘’Tissue, please’’ written by Lisa Kopelke  we  read it  and started to prepare the pre-reading activity. It was prepared  following  steps in the pre-reading activity that was given to us to our teacher Leah with the right steps.
I think it is possible to use this in my classroom. I teach for basic level, but the minimum age of my pupils is 16 years old  and my school is not a traditional school, it’s a little bit different from the others. There we have basic English courses  which is divided in three steps, each course has sixty hours in total and classes are every day. So this kind of activity can be used in writing class in order to help the students to develop this ability.
